What Triggered the HolocaustI am certain that many of us have asked ourselves, why did the Holocaust happen. Everyone quickly responds, almost without thinking about it, with it is because Adolf Hitler hated the Jews. To begin with, more than just the Jews were killed in the Holocaust. Gypsies, homosexuals, communist, prisoners of war, people who helped or hid Jews, and anyone who opposed Hitler or the Nazis were sent to concentration camps. In addition, Hitler was not the only one involved in the Holocaust. The entire Nazi party and other countries helped, at least they did not try to stop, the Holocaust.
